ENJOY THE "NEW DEPARTURE" EFFECT
We say it every New Year, "New Year, New Me", and
it has a name: the new-start effect. It is this thirst for change that takes us
in every new era (new year, new season, change of environment ...) and it is a
very positive feeling. Indeed, it is a kind of timeless marker that allows us

shown that we can manage our problems better by putting ourselves in the shoes

take a step back to avoid making emotional decisions.
BE REASONABLY PESSIMIST
By being (too) optimistic, one can fall from high. You have
a project and the means to realize it, try this method: plan 5 years in the
future, and imagine that the project did not succeed as you wanted. Then, try
to analyze the reasons for this failure (assumed, of course). This will allow
you to highlight what might not work, to adapt and to be better prepared to
carry out your project.
DO NOT LEAVE IN CASE OF FAILURE
Researchers at Stanford University have demonstrated the
effect of the phrase "not yet". For example, instead of saying that
one is bad in an area (and so let) fall, if one thinks that one is not yet at
the right level, everything changes. Indeed, it gives us a prospect of
improvement, which is good for morale and pushes us to improve.
